Gary de Beers and Dance Equations proudly present an annual private promoter event, hosted under the auspices of the SADTA. Majestic Diamond truly lives up to its name, bringing an atmosphere of majesty and mysticism with an exciting new royal theme each year. Competitors are invited to take part across Freestyle, International, and American genres.

Styles on Offer
We provide focused instruction across multiple ballroom disciplines, each taught with a strong emphasis on technique, discipline, and competitive readiness. Our structured approach ensures that every style contributes meaningfully to a dancer’s overall development.
International - Standrad
Standard is an acquired and sophisticated style that has lived since medieval times and still remains a popular couples dance form with thanks to shows such Strictly Come Dancing. Standardis commonly known for crossing the generation gap with students of all ages participating well into senior and master categories, enjoyed socially and competitively!

International - Latin American
Latin American remains a popular couples dance form thanks to movies such as Dirty Dancing, and shows such Strictly Come Dancing. Latin American is commonly known for crossing the generation gap with students of all ages participating well into senior and master categories, enjoyed socially and competitively!

American - Smooth
American Smooth is a dynamic and expressive ballroom discipline that blends classical ballroom technique with freedom of movement and theatrical expression. Danced in both closed and open positions, it allows for seamless transitions, expansive shapes, and expressive choreography while maintaining strong technical foundations.

American - Rhythm
The American Rhythm category celebrates a vibrant and expressive dances that blend technical foundation with character, musicality, and individuality. Rooted in social dance traditions and refined for the competitive floor, American Rhythm encourages dancers to explore grounded movement, dynamic rhythm changes, and emotional connection—while allowing greater stylistic freedom than its International counterparts.
